Route description

In stage 8 we will climb the last significant col; the Passo del San Gottardo (2.107m). A famous col and with high importance for our railway business. Without any warming up we will start the climb as from our hotel. After reaching the top we will descent for direction Bellinzona.

Just before we turn left for the beautiful Lago di Lugano we have another mountain to climb: the Gola di Lago (around 1.000m). After the descent we follow the Lago di Lugano arriving in Italy. We head toward the Lago di Como and even cross this enormous lake with a ferry in order to arrive in the lovely town of Bellagio.
